M’ANIS is the result of a concept, visible at first glance and expressed in the form of an unusual and modern packaging, which has a story to tell behind the letters impressed black on white, or white on black as in this case. M’ANIS is the acronym containing the inheritance of the progenitors, Margherita and Narciso Sfoggia.

It’s the result of their diligence and passion, continued at first by the children and recently by the grandchildren, too.


M’ANIS is a beer, but first of all it’s a trip from the earth to the senses, a trip rich of notes and emotions we may meet and recognise as they have been preserved and protected in the ingredients used for this beer. In M’ANIS we find water of Schievenin, precious source of Belluno’s Pre-Alps which feeds the Po Valley, excellent German and Italian Malts, which make M’ANIS fine and fragrant, the best German and Czech hops of the year and yeasts from important stocks; they all are essential ingredients making this bouquet richer of flavours.

M’ANIS production processes make M’ANIS beer unique and represent a quality mark for the final customer: from the beginning to the finished and packed product, they are directly controlled by the enterprise through connected companies.
Sfoggia Agriculture Division Srl deals with the production of implements for the sowing of cereal grains; barley is therefore planted, grown and harvested directly and then once ready it is processed and malted by Sfoggiatech, other enterprise of the Group.
M’ANIS has furthermore the merit to count on the expertise of Mr. Enzo, Malzmeister and Braumeister, who knows how to give each type of beer its own identity.
Recently M’ANIS has presented the sole and original alcoholic beverage 3.9, produced with 100% Italian Carnaroli rice malt. Rice, the pure cereal for excellence, does not contain gluten and therefore is indicated for the creation of a gluten free drink. In the premises of COBI, the malt company to which M’ANIS is associated, the malted rice is of exclusively domestic provenience.
